What a discovery! When a brand can be recognised with a symbol like this, it is powerful. This discovery was celebrated but not rewarded nearly enough in hindsight. The unicode noggles have become ubiquitous and I imagine will continue to live on and be recognised for generations to come.

Iconic contributions like ⌐◨-◨ should be celebrated and rewarded, especially if proven to be highly viral. Many of us have shortcuts for ⌐◨-◨ on our devices (including me!) & builders are including it in their work. Unicode noggles will likely exist as long as Nouns does.

Mike Rainbow recently said “i don’t know if ⌐◨-◨ will ever be topped” — and that’s true. It's hard to imagine this unicode mark being topped in terms of instant recognizability, memetic potency, and staying power. Other identity memes have come and gone – the (3,3) invocation of 2021 now feels like ancient history, and I suspect the e/acc trend that’s currently in vogue will fade from memory before long.

I always google "noggles unicode" and copy it for usage. I've started using it so much over the past few weeks. So cool to see how it was originally discovered. Definitely a game changer. ⌐◨-◨

⌐◨-◨ has helped proliferate nouns in the text space. I've used it extensively in both my previous web2 life and my web3 life as well.
The only text shortcut I have in my mobile keyboard is converting ng to ⌐◨-◨.
