Before you read the proposal, read this first:
Although there is already a quite some programming throughout all 3 days, there is still plenty of room and space for you to contribute, chime in with activities, host side events and more.
This programming should function as a platform to build upon. Due to security restrictions we might not be able to host all activities at Secret Walls HQ, but we will do our best to pull everything together - because the more, the merrier.
We will host rounds for teams to get funded, and encourage teams with ideas that require larger funding to submit a proposal on chain.
TLDR;
This is not your typical crypto con – welcome to Nouns Town LA! The event series all ⌐◨-◨ fans have been waiting for. Let's come together in LA to celebrate ⌐◨-◨!

From being in and with the community for +2,5 years, the impression has matured that we're missing something for and from the community: a moment in the year when we all summon to a place to connect, create and cultivate more of the good and the great that we like to see coming to life through ⌐◨-◨
From this year onward, let's create an annual happening for the whole community to come together, bring their friends and celebrate ⌐◨-◨

It's the first of its kind – communities, groups, project teams and fans are coming together to make memories and celebrate ⌐◨-◨ in LA this year.
It's Nouns Town LA and everyone is invited to add their ⌐◨-◨ to the program.
We have a general run of show planned with sufficient flexibility and space that allows communities, groups and teams to plug in and contribute to the celebration.
It's an arrangement in 3 chapters and the theme is as central to the core of ⌐◨-◨ as it can be: People, Places, Things.
Chapter 1: Little Nouns Town
Chapter 2: Animation Festival
Chapter 3: Nouns exploring LA
Date: 09 October
Location: Secret Walls HQ
Think of "Little Nouns Town" as the physical representation of what we experience every day on warpcast, X and Discord. It's a mashup of what makes ⌐◨-◨ Nouns.
On Day 1, all of Nouns comes to Secret Walls HQ. Secret Walls HQ is located in Downtown LA, which is ~15mins from United Theatre where the film festival will take place.
It offers 3 in-house areas and a large yard that can be split up into multiple areas. We’re looking to host as many nounish communities as we can fit into the venue on the same day, creating a mini version of Nouns Town.

Food and beverages will be provided throughout the event by food trucks and the coffee store in the venue will serve pastries and coffee.
We're exited to share a preview of the speaker line-up.
Through different formats, we want to make sure that the diversity of ⌐◨-◨ gets to participate - e.g. lightning talks and hot mic sessions.
Nouns Esports is hosting a series of show matches through Proposal 534. They plan to hold these matches at the Secret Walls venue, offering a unique esports experience for Nouners and unparalleled access to the world’s best Smash Melee players—a rare opportunity sought after by thousands of fans globally.
This event will also allow some of esports' biggest influencers to gain an inside look at Nouns and understand that Nouns is more than just an NFT project funding esports initiatives.
We aim to provide these players with a one-of-a-kind experience that they will share with their followers, generating millions of impressions for this event.
This activation is funded through proposal #534.
The Nouns Maker Space provides all the equipment for event attendees to customize merch they receive at the event - e.g. t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, Bigshot toys, and more!
The approach:
butter.wtf is a homage to ⌐◨-◨ by Benjamin Latsko - it’s an attempt to provide a curated view into the wider Nouns ecosystem. For this event everyone is invited to co-curate and surface the best of Nouns.
We hosted this at ETHDenver and it was an activation everyone enjoyed: a community mural artwork. 4-6 artists will live paint art throughout the day to some of which attendees are invited to pick up a marker or a brush to contribute.
Other communities will also commission artists to live paint during the day - e.g. Yellow Collective, Higher, vrbs, nounspace.wtf and more.
We will also commission an artist to create a black&white ⌐◨-◨ mural in the yard of Secret Walls HQ.

From almost 3 years of ⌐◨-◨ work, Klim is curating a selection of prototypes, sketches, molds, finished and unfinished product ideas from his archives as well as new products to create the first of it's kind: A ⌐◨-◨ Archive Experience by Bigshot Toyworks!
Expect an archive experience like no other: unseen prototypes and products, big and small ⌐◨-◨ concepts, creative ideas that will spark the new.
We're looking forward to showcase the depth of research, product development and passion that went into creating the beloved tokens of joy.
After it's popular tribute at the "Shark, Pickle, Cone"-Premiere, we're activating a tattoo station with Gossamer Rozen.
Gossamer is known for her infamous work on Tigerbob and has been close to Nouns from inception. We're exited to get her involved at Nouns Town LA at the tattoo station and Maker Space.

We are premiering major ⌐◨-◨ productions at Nouns Town LA: "The Rise of Blus: A Nouns Movie" and "Nogglers Series - Mavericks of Time".
A New Normal – With his father taken, Gi and Mara try to lay low and adjust to their new circumstances. But when Leader Blunt's goons track them down, a mysterious new figure comes to their aid.
The event will be first-time IRL premiere of Episode 4 alongside re-runs of episodes 1-3.

This animated adventure follows the story of two teenagers from the '90s, Steven Maxwell and Will Cooper. After discovering a pair of Noggles, they gain extraordinary intelligence and use it to create a time machine! Join them as they encounter historical figures, get into all sorts of trouble, and somehow try to save the planet.

The Animation Festival is funded through proposal #397
The general programming for this day allows for groups to break out and more community events to take place.
A brunch will be hosted close to United Theater where the evening events are taking place.
Date: 11 October
Location: LA
On day 3, local ⌐◨-◨ are encouraged and invited to share their favorite places of the city with the community.
Simply put, the idea is for groups to break out during the day to explore LA, make memories and come back together in the evening for dinner and fireside chats - we will work on the evening programming as a separate proposal once attendance is confirmed.

This year we're seeding the event concept for Nouns Town with the goal to go BIG in 2025 and the years to come. Therefore we're not aiming to be self-sufficient through ticket sales or revenue streams this year.
We're working on a concept to ensure we get clear committment of attendance for tickets claimed at marginal to zero cost.

Everyone in the ⌐◨-◨ ecosystem, and their friends. We will be hosting up to 200 nounsfolk at Secret Walls HQ and are expecting for all tickets to be claimed quickly.

A German classic, exported to the US: Paulaner Sunset. For my German friends: this is Paulaner Spezi.
If the proposal passes, we will approach more partners to support with products and pot. sponsorships.
As stated in the "Ticket Sales and Revenue Model" section, this year is all about seeding the event concept of Nouns Town.
By leaning inwards and celebrating all of ⌐◨-◨, we're creating a spring board to go big in 2025. We're planning to book multiple photographers and videographers to document this happening. The distribution of the mini documentaries will be supported by 2 advertorials and PR work.
My vision for Nouns Town is to make it an annual recurring community happening that is hosted in a different city each year.
From venue takeovers to ⌐◨-◨-ifying entire neighborhoods, leading up to ⌐◨-◨-ifying an entire city for a week, month, years...

I launched butter.wtf as a homage to ⌐◨-◨ - curating and bringing (very) small capsule collections to the community with some selected artwork from the past and some new pieces. Provided folks at farcon with a batch of merch too.
