After spending some more time in SEA I realized scooter was a needed addition to Nouns. Great job Tummlin!

This is a joyful, superbly executed trait and I'm excited to have it (and Tummlin) be part of Nouns.

To all the broken code doomers: App maintainers, whether in web2 or web3, must always be monitoring for software updates. It's part of the "joy" of development. Luckily, our proposal process gives advanced, public notice of changes. But this notice isn't entirely needed; the beauty of Nouns is that all traits are onchain. If offchain code is too slow or onerous to update, app devs can always tap into the open data on Ethereum to pull the pixels their app needs.

Same as my signal reason but with more context....think we should consider all of the developers and apps who are 'building on Nouns' and how adding traits as one off will effect them, their dApps and the communities they build around those applications. Historically we have spent more of software & development costs vs compensation for traits yet it seems like not many are taking into consideration the butterfly effect of yeeting random one off traits. My suggestion....let's come to consensus on a time schedule so everyone can plan accordingly - once a year may be a bit too long, I would suggest quarterly.

Easy yes vote for me. I'm strongly in favor of adding traits, and I know many want a more optimized additions system, but we'll get there.

In the meantime, tummlin is an extremely Nounish artist, and this Scooter head trait is fun and matches the aesthetic quality of their Tiger head trait, which has already been added to the traits bank.

Also, I don't mind one treasury Noun as payment for this service. It's an interesting way to esteem the core contributors of Nounish art, or at least something I'm okay with trialing for now.

Fans of adding more traits, but can't get behind this one. Traits should be unique and distinguishable, this one feels a too much like the Car head trait.

Echo what Bixbite and Toady said, as a team that runs a app, we don't think adding one-off traits is the best approach. It's challenging to keep up with governance as it is. Would like to see a better way to add traits.

In favor of making traits abundant within an infinite work of art. When doing so, we should reward the artists and make it a norm.

Also in favor of figuring out the best way to handle these over time, but I don’t see that as a reason to vote against. We can figure that out while also adding new traits.

Adding a head trait to this infinite work of art should earn you a Noun. This is an excellent example of proof of work—'mining' a new trait. Doing it constantly without waiting a whole year feels right for an ongoing, ever-changing work of art. If people think doing it at this pace is not sustainable, I'd prefer to see an increase in the 'mining' difficulty and make it two head traits for a full Noun, for instance, instead of not rewarding at all. Until then, let's keep rewarding a head with a head.
