Overview:
Nouns Esports is requesting 3 CRT Head Nouns from the treasury whose mission will be to onboard gamers to the DAO. These CRT Heads will be delegated to individuals chosen by our community through nouns.gg/rounds.
Given the strong momentum we've seen since the launch of our rounds program nearly two months ago, we're optimistic about delegating Nouns through this initiative. The rounds have successfully doubled our Discord community and added over 5,700 new accounts to our site.
The goals of the Delegate Program are to:
Participants are currently split between 3 ranks which feature different voting allocations.
Delegates will be selected by members of nouns.gg who have earned either the "Challenger" or "Champion" rank. Anyone interested in becoming a delegate can submit a proposal for consideration. After a 3 month term, delegates may reapply but their reappointment will be determined by the results of the next Round.
The Nouns Esports team will offer a white-glove experience to all delegates, providing them with an ENS and ETH to facilitate their voting. Those who successfully complete the following deliverables during their term will receive a reward of 0.1 ETH from Nouns Esports.
Zeroweight is an effective tool, but it lacks the social accountability that comes with delegation. When someone is delegated a Noun, they take on a responsibility to participate actively in governance. Missing votes or casting votes with reasons that the community disagrees with can subject them to criticism. We believe that this peer-driven accountability fosters a more responsible voting environment, ensuring that our delegates are not just passive participants but active, engaged voices within the DAO.
CRT's are an integral part of the competitive gaming community with their low-latency screens being ideal for fast paced gameplay.
