Shoutout to Wiz for taking initiative and creating this solid MLP. I like the concept and execution so far, and am generally in favor of Nouns funding experienced builders in the community to build cool shit. That said, it's harder for me to be a hell yes on funding software that's not open source or where the path to sustainability is unclear.

I also think it will be difficult for a tool focused specifically on Nouns to compete with the tools being actively developed that are extensible to any DAO (some ATX DAO friends are launching daobot.org next month).

If Wand's plan was to build open source ai-enhanced gov predictions that any DAO could use, and Nouns was just the beginning, it would be easier to justify the ask, which is a lot for a tool for internal use, but a reasonable amount to bet if we're taking a shot on goal (which I think we should do more of)

AI generated VwRs are just scratching the surface of what a tool like this could be capable of. The editor and AI assisted proposal creation are something that would be incredibly useful, and wiz is the perfect person to build a tool like this ⌐◨-◨

I feel like there's some sentiment in nouns to be against funding anything software related as of late. would bet on wiz more than most to contribute meaningful value. we stopped doing anything ai related and would like to see how his experiments in this realm unfold

I’m not sure if it’s a good thing to build, but I support experimental things generally. The budget is huge too, so I would hope to see this maintained and working for quite some time into the future.

I like wand.wtf and the opportunities it surfaces - I'm not super aligned with how it's surfacing VWRs and sentiments, but that's more my take on tools and not the reason why I'm voting against.

I'm voting against because I can't come up with a solid answer for the question: why now?

And, considering the amount of requested funds, it would be helpful to understand how far this "supports" the development - will this fund V1 and a V2? it's not clear because in the proposal it only states "The 95 ETH in funding will help support the development of Wand."

Just feels like it'll make voters more blasé and less involved

innovation is nounish

one of the hardest thing to do in nouns is getting feedback on your proposal idea to get the temperature of the DAO at any one moment. this can be a lonely moment for first time proposers or nouners. my first interaction with WAND was a heart stopper! it takes a few seconds to realize or this is from an AI but i was glad to see "would be" feedback and also active voters and their sentiments. it really can help provide some improvements to your proposal.

You have identified a good problem to solve, but I still think AI is the wrong way to solve it (or at least has not yet been proven to be a suitable solution).

My main fear is that this both increase fatigue and decrease participation, which is why im against at this moment in time.

I do really love the way wiz executes to an MVP-level on an idea before putting it forward for the dao to vote, so major praise there.

I do think this idea can have legs if/when the dao truly runs into capital allocation efficiency roadblocks, but imo where are not close to being there yet. Also, my personal take on AI projects is that, since the LLM industry moves fwd so fast, its almost never worth doing anything preemptively.

I love Ai but think theres a time and place for it.... I feel like there are alot of external factors that can happen within a DAO that an Ai agent can not be trained on.... I just think it's a bit of a PR nightmare if someone gets great feedback on their wand request, it shows its passing with awesome comments... then comes onchain and gets roasted, that could potentially do more harm than good to a builders confidence

The cost is extremely high for the model that needs to run and the amount of datasets it's being given.

I wanna see you win Wiz but these skeletal MVPs with huge budgets and unclear roadmaps are not the move

32k per month feels expensive - I want more details about budget. why does it cost this much? how many people are on the team? who is on the multisig creating accountability for the funds?

I'm super bullish on the experimentation of AI and governance. Although the budget is really high for a project in this stage of development, I am confident in Wiz's ability to create something meaningful here.

agree with the comment that this project still feels like a hobby / pet project and isn't yet worth putting ~100 ETH into.

I think the biggest opportunities for AI come from helping people draft their proposals rather than helping people vote. Automating voting feels like a bad idea

95eth to fund a simple AI agent project is not reasonable. Nowadays building AI agent is way cheaper. And it will only become much cheaper in the future.

Innovation in Governance is Nounish. I think this is one of the most important things we can fund right now. This is going to happen with or without us but we can lead and make it Nounish. Wiz is one of our most thoughtful, creative and innovative hackers.
