I can come up with reasons to vote against this but in this moment of the dao/project Im more inclined to say yes and embrace the people interacting with Nouns on a daily basis.

I do not think we should set the precedent of paying additional tax for a gifted Noun, thats my only disagreement with this proposal.

I was on the fence about this one. While I think Treasury Nouns should go to true fans, each case should be looked at individually. In this case, I wasn't totally convinced at first.

After reading the VwRs and realizing the artists will be active in governance, plus thinking about holders who got their Nouns and are active, I now think it makes sense to reward them. Especially considering their long-term engagement with the brand, they seem like true fans.

I'd also like to suggest a similar proposal for warpcast.com/@taroron, who's been posting nounish food pics daily for a long time now.

I like it.
I agree we should also try to increase auction demand but I still think rewarding good contributors likely to use their voice in governance is cool.

Not a fan of rewarding nouns from the treasury for minor contributions or to individuals likely to sell their noun.

Strongly in favor of rewarding treasury nouns to individuals that have contributed significantly, demonstrated their long-term commitment, and for whom a noun could otherwise be out of reach.

I generally prefer $NOUNS as a more granular reward mechanism, but in this case I think a full noun is well-deserved.

Sorry this isn't a more eloquent comment but I just really like the art.

I'd like to see what happens next when these creators feel appreciated, supported, and energized from getting their own noun.

Appreciate the artists' work and contributions. I'm fine with retroactive rewards in ETH, USDC, or $NOUNS tokens, but have concerns about giving away Nouns NFTs.

There's already a precedent for receiving NFTs, and this might be opening Pandora's box. If future proposals start using Treasury NFTs for retroactive rewards or other purposes, it makes the past Fork mechanism seem absurd—basically, Fork participants took funds from the treasury without returning NFTs, and instead gave them to others. This dilutes the value of each Noun. While I'm not sure if this will have negative consequences, something about it just feels off to me."

Backing those who’ve gone all-in on boosting Nouns culture feels like a no-brainer. These artists have been putting in daily work, pushing creativity, and keeping the vibes alive. Retroactively rewarding them isn’t just a thank-you; it’s a message to everyone else: bring your A-game, and it won’t go unnoticed. Let’s double down on the people building the culture and inspiring others to join in.

I really appreciate how positive and supportive Pipe is to everyone in our community. If more people were like him, we would have an even better community that would attract many new members.

Proliferation is the goal. These are the players we want on the team. Ethereum is great at retroactively rewarding those who have created impact and so is Nouns.

realistically nouns is cooked if it expects auction proceeds alone to fund the scope of work many have in mind. For this reason, I don't understand the obsession with "driving demand to the auction" or that we are "giving away free nouns when these people could be buyers". Nah

The thing I care about is if these people are actually going to use their gifted nouns by voting or at least delegating the voting power. Time and time again we reward folks with nouns just for them to sit in their wallets unused.

I asked pip about this and was told these folks would be active. So, we will see. Pip is active and I'll take their word for it.
