I'll be honest, I'm voting no because this is only available on Mac so I can't even use it. Why make a piece of software that doesn't function on the super majority of devices? It's probably as expensive as it is because the dev process for Apple is so dumb.

Only ⌐◨-◨ are app logo and unicode inside app and we have a ton of great art people have done over the years being CC0 weird not being use, can’t justify unclear budget as nounish description of 4156 and just accusing nouns being broken if prop does not pass or being to novel for our understanding just seems there is no self accountability and a disconnect from community

i kind of cool having this art available, I open in the ipad, and it maximized the art appreciation, but I agree with JP, you are onto something that is not quite there yet. look forward the next iteration

Personally not energized by the proposed direction. I also found the proposer's attacks on other proposers' integrity disingenuous & based on budgetary concerns, and don't seek to harbor or reward that conduct

I strongly believe in starting small and progressing step by step until you reach an onchain proposal — and you did exactly that by competing for the Nouns prize and getting funded on Prop House.

That said, I also believe going onchain requires a higher level of preparation, and I don’t think NFT Folder is quite there yet. Maybe I’m not fully understanding the product, but it feels like there’s a lot more potential that could be explored and built into this proposal. At the end of the day, I just couldn’t get excited enough about its current version.

Concept feels outdated. I'd be supportive for this to be integrated into a CB / rainbow wallet experience, becoming part of a social feed (farcaster), etc. But that also (kinda) already exists.

NFT folder which isn't exectly a novel idea

nft folder isn’t a novel idea — it’s a novel product. there’s no better way to view generative artworks.

The proposal lacks a detailed financial breakdown and specific financial KPIs. While it aims to enhance the NFT viewing experience, it does not provide a clear mechanism for financial returns or a substantial impact on Nouns DAO's brand value. The proposal's deliverables are primarily technical enhancements without a clear strategy for increasing Nouns NFT value or auction revenues.

+++ great developer, great idea, great art

As someone who really loves the nouns funds software thesis, the software needs to either

• show growth
• be novel / experimental such that we learn something new from the build, or contribute something new to the community

As much as I appreciate you submitting this prop and working on software, I can't get myself excited about funding an NFT folder which isn't exectly a novel idea.

Building software without a clear strategy for acquiring users is often a poor decision. If you believe in the product, go ahead and build it. However, I don't understand why Nouns should fund this, though I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask.
