I think it’s worth a shot because it turns a tiny chunk of DAO funds into a live on-chain content lab where creators crank out two nounish pieces a month for three months, we pull impressions, likes and shares for quick feedback, and blast everything on X and Farcaster to juice web3 vibes, even if the raw numbers might feel a bit meh, so making this killer would mean locking down clear success benchmarks, pushing for original posts instead of retweets, keeping space open to recruit fresh talent mid-trial and throwing up a live dashboard to see what times, formats and alt text actually move the needle.

am leaning torward native posting on X platform! and hopefully we can do more for other native social media platforms. in addition of a 3 month trial run to keep saturating the nounish art machine at /noc is great!

I was torn on this proposal because I would like to ensure the content is posted from the Nouns account as original content vs a retweet, but realize that’s me probably obsessing over too small of a detail. Overall I like the idea of continuing to support Nounish artist which is why I’m voting for.

I always believe that supporting creators, especially this list of dazzlingly talented menagerie of artists/creators, is always a positive sum game!

However, if this trial is to be much more sticky, ancillary context is necessary. Posting an artwork or anything for that matter often has to brace the current of these algorithms so content can be easily missed, even if you are a person like me who is chronically online. Profiles on these awesome artists, polls, short video content featuring interview clips from these artists, BTS or behind the scenes and process/"making of" videos, before and afters, LiveStream on Twitter AMA or Q&A with the artists, giveaways, pop up collaborations between the artists, weekly recap post, as well as finding other ways to remix the posts about these artworks and the artists/creator who are making these art works is imperative.

What metrics will be tracked to measure the success of this trial?

Overall, I love the idea of experimenting in this way and hope that there can be a bit more strategy pushed around it to push engagement and foster support for these artists.

After the Flow prop was terminated, Nadie sent me a message asking, “What is the place for an artist like me?”

Many people were drawn to the DAO because of Nouns’ art, so I reached out to Pip and asked him to help put up this prop. We can absolutely afford to allocate a negligible amount of funds, from the DAO’s perspective, to continue supporting these artists.

In the future, the Break Even group will also work to implement independent budgeting systems for different tracks. I firmly believe that as a DAO, we are fully capable of achieving big results with small expenditures while maintaining stricter financial discipline. I also hope to make more use of tools within the Ethereum ecosystem, like 0xSplits, rather than spending large amounts repeatedly to reinvent the wheel.

This art is cool, and I want to see more!

Love that we’re back to using the X account but I think it’s important to the brand to show we’re weird and creative and that’s what noc can bring.

I would have liked an open spot to allow some new characters to emerge.

X for better or worse continues to be a large social media platform for Nouns. Proposal outlines a good plan of sharing the art made by long time contributors for a very low ask with the opportunity to reflect on strategy and pivot if needed.
