I've been very torn on this proposal, I even drafted up a pros & cons list.... I appreciate Dusk coming into the Lil Nouns community call to address my concerns when I first posted them, it helped to clarify a few things...The things I am against is the timing & that it didnt start as a topic / candidate.... The things that I do like are the engagement of Developers. Everyone knows I love the Developers community & Hackathons. I was fortunate enough to volunteer at Nouns Fair in Waterloo & London with Mono and Lex and saw first hand the engagement Nouns receives at Hackathons, which is a net postive for Nouns. I am voting to support this proposal because I think exposing more Developers to Nouns is important and outweights wanting an additional 2 weeks to market the event. I do hope in the future that we can plan out events at least 30 days out and also start as a candidate so everyone can ask questions / comment before going onchain. ⌐◨-◨

Still think the cost and the beginning to partnership with ENS makes sense. I know I’ve been looking for ways to contribute to them.

For the past few months, i have been looking for a way to create an immutable story page for the Nouns School Project, something that will live on for as long as the blockchain keeps working.. like this idea and can't wait to see what comes out of it that we can build on and stay onchain forever!

Same thought as with the basepaint co-sponsors, given that ENS DAO is an onchain org too: it would be a valuable benchmark to set to have them / someone representative from their Org signal their support onchain in a onchain comment.

Is this going to assist your community in capturing ENS too? If so, this may subject the existing DAO to unknown liabilities and friction between DAOs that we have relationships with.

A medium logo is not of value especially with the short period of time we have till this event.

Lack of disclosure of holdings and dealings with ENS is rather disingenuous.

Also I don't believe that pinning on IPFS is permanent so I think this is a waste of money. Replicating ARWEAVE is also a waste of money as does the tech really need to be improved? How does this address and further the governance structures and frameworks you all have been talking about (demanding)?

Most importantly, if this community is being subjected to "iron fist rules" that demand us to post props as topics and that we have to post props in enough time to garner feedback from the DAO and your community, this does not fit said criteria. As a leaderful human being, I lead with my values and model the community-centric behaviors and outcomes I would like to inspire others to follow all while valuing others contributions, centering consensus and community feedback, and say what I mean and do what I say - consistency. I suggest you all do the same.

To be frank, You cannot be the exception to the rule -- whatever the rule may be. Otherwise, resentment and unnecessary conflict will arise. DAOs in their purest form, value ALL community members and draw forth consensus around their north start/mission, what they believe in, how to coordinate across communities and humans as well as tech rails that the DAO may be on, and center mutual respect, equity and the DAOs original mission.

would have liked disclosures on the relationship between the proposer and their product. i realize the timing is not ideal for getting more value from marketing of the event, however, as a host of the Onchain Creator House, i understand fundraising sometimes take a back seat to programming. i would expect the host of this event to promote Nouns during and after the event to ensure the relationship between the event and dao is clear. cc0 ftw.

I do wish there were more clarity in the process, but I also appreciate the proposer’s proactivity given the timing. Low budget for a potentially huge return.

I don't fully follow the purpose of the contribution + reimbursement, but that does reduce the effective cost to the point where this may be worthwhile. More Nouns frontends, especially without ongoing hosting obligations, may lead to interesting results
