Building on the success and momentum from the Haus of Nouns series — with the most recent edition, World of Apps ⌐◨-◨ — we are doubling down to host the very first of its kind at Devconnect 2025:
The Ethereum App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨
On 18 November we are taking over the Amphitheater at the main Devconnect venue to host the App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨, where 10 established teams will pull back the curtain on their challenges, wins, and roadmaps for 2026.
Like he did at World of Apps, Jason Chaskin will curate the speaker line up for the Town Hall.
I, Benjamin Latsko (latsko.eth), will also present a perspective on Nouns as one of the 10 presentations at the Ethereum App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ — working title: "Nouns, a Brand as an Application".
Worth mentioning:
Ask from Nouns: $10k USD
Total Production Budget: $56k USD

Ethereum is entering a new chapter. From apps to culture, builders are changing people’s lives with Ethereum.
It’s time to celebrate, learn, and share those wins together.
For that, we are creating a dedicated forum at Devconnect: the App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨
The App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ creates space for teams to present their learnings, directions, and achievements. It’s about recognizing what’s working, spotlighting momentum, and giving Ethereum’s cultural layer the stage it deserves.
We have 2 main blocks at the event which is hosted at the historic Amphitheater of Devcon's main venue La Rural – The speaker series as the Town Hall and the Creative Studio.
I'm particularly happy about the space we were able to get because it's flooded with natural light, big doors and windows so that we have great air circulation and the perfect setup for an open forum: try to picture the Ethereum App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ with nounish visual cues everywhere you look.
Each team will have 15 minutes to share behind-the-scenes insights under the headline: The State of “Insert App Name”.
Chapters may include:
Each presentation will be followed by a 15–20 minute focused Q&A with the audience.
After the Town Hall, the Amphitheater will transform into a Creative Studio with artists-in-residence live painting and inviting visitors to contribute to a community mural and customize their favorite products.
We may also include gaming stations and a lifestyle photography studio to produce the editorial series People of Ethereum (see below).
Outside the Amphitheater, we will install a large canvas for visitors to join a community mural painting activity — Paint by Numbers. Example: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/APlm-bqViec
To be clear: the mural will not be painted on the wall of the building. A free standing, large canvas will be positioned in the area highlighted below.
Learning: We didn’t budget enough for video editing to produce short-form content from the speaker series. Solution: We will produce more soundbite-length content with key insights from the App Town Hall, driving visibility post-event.
Learning: Visitors enjoyed creating their own content, but at World of Apps the programming and venue were too tight to allow more experimentation. Solution: We are rethinking floorplans and programming to encourage more user-generated content (UGC). Insight: Nouns has so much to show that visitors want to document and share — we should enable that more fully.
People of Ethereum is a living portrait of the builders, dreamers, and thinkers shaping the world’s most open network.
It celebrates the human stories behind the code — the artists, developers, founders, and community stewards expanding what’s possible with Ethereum.
This editorial format goes beyond founder stories to explore the different pockets of culture where the People of Ethereum live.
My work is focused on strengthening our position as the cultural layer of Ethereum, and on identifying, activating, and cultivating partnerships aligned with our mission:
Expand the Ethereum ecosystem by funding art, code, and communities that build in the public domain.
Being one of the two title sponsors of the first Ethereum App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ will further strengthen our position and enable us to do more of what we set out to achieve: making crypto soft, and being nounish.
Nouns will be the key visual anchor throughout the event and comms to guide visitors throughout the Town Hall. This event will be a visually integrated extension from Mono and Lex's booth.
From Nouns' perspective you could look at the App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ as a growth progression from Haus of Nouns (https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/753) -> World of Apps (https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/841) -> App Town Hall.
Impact + Visiblity: Prop-over-prop(PoP) positive growth
Budget request: PoP declining
As mentioned in the last proposal, there is a strong focus on further decentralizing the financial burden of activating these events. With learnings from World of Apps and more lead time, we are doing exactly that.
This is why I am asking Nouns for a sponsorship contribution with $10k USD toward this initiative.
