Thank you all for your feedback and support on our last prop, which almost passed but fell short of quorum. We've responded to and/or incorporated all feedback we received during and since, and are back once more to ask for your support.
Updates from Prop 825:
We’re reducing the scope of our proposal to a 3-month sprint focused on specific Nounish deliverables. This will provide the team with critical resources to maintain momentum while we pursue additional funding and while Nouns explores a sustainable yield-based grant mechanism with Octant v2.
Noun.space is a customizable Farcaster client and mini app built for Nouns, by Nouns. Open-source, community-owned, and live now.

Noun.space is built on top of the space system - a web of miniature websites designed by the community and further customizable by its members. Each space is assembled from a collection of mini apps and building blocks we call Fidgets. Users can expand their space with Tabs and visually style each Tab with Themes.
The Plan
By Nouns, For Nouns
Make noun.space the center of the Nounish community, and the mini app for Nouns: the best place to talk about, learn about, and get involved in Nounish projects, content, events, and subcommunities.
Secure additional grants from aligned communities to develop Blank.Space
Extend the space system so any community can easily spin up their own hub/mini app. These will be platforms with identical capabilities, but uniquely customized, acting as modular bespoke hubs for each community.

10,000,000 $SPACE (Streamed to Nouns over 2 months)
Providing Nouns with a stake in the expanded space ecosystem.
Claimable by proposal at any point in the future.
15 ETH (streamed over 3 months) These funds will enable our core team to continue building our vision for at least 3 months (and we pledge to continue hosting noun.space for a minimum of 2 years).
Our team will be dedicated to developing the features and systems described in this proposal - custom built for Nouns, with an eye towards how they can be useful for communities everywhere.
Here's how we get there:
1. By Nouns, For Nouns
First and foremost, we want to bring existing Nounish tools into the same space so that our community is less scattered. Then we want to take the next step forward to build new tools for the unresolved challenges our community still has.

2. Full Decentralization
The frontend code for Nounspace and all space systems as well as the space config data for all spaces and homebases will be hosted on IPFS. Nounspace.eth will be configured to route to the IPNS Hash for the frontend, and the ENS name will be transferred to the Nouns DAO Treasury.
Blank.space will make it easy for any community, Nounish and beyond, to host their own space system in the same fully decentralized fashion.
3. Community Focused Tooling
Make the space system the ideal hub for communities.
Instead of competing with Farcaster and Base to be the best generic client, our focus is on creating community tooling that can exist within these platforms - customized to each community's needs. (Ex: Token Spaces for Clanker)
4. Additional Grants
We will seek additional funding from aligned ecosystems that would either be interested in a space system for their community and/or are seeking to fund projects like Nounspace/Blank.space (open source, decentralized, public goods).
Shoutout to internoun.eth for already connecting us to and securing soft commitments from multiple top ecosystems.
5. Blank.Space
Once we’ve established Nounspace as a primary hub (measured by the majority of active Nouners using the Nouns mini app on a weekly basis) we’re excited to take the powerful platform we've built, and make it easy for any community to deploy their own version.
These custom space systems will have their own domain, branding, homepage, directories, and default configs for profiles and dashboards that the members can further customize. Not only will noun.space be the first ever "channel client," it will become the base template upon which all channels and communities can deploy their platforms.
Any community will be able to deploy their own space system.

Case Study - Clanker.Space Clanker has shown strong interest in noun.space since our recent launch of token spaces (deployer customizable homepages for every token).
Our teams are actively exploring the deployment of clanker.space, a white-labeled version of noun.space focused entirely on the Clanker ecosystem. While there’s no guarantee that Clanker will adopt clanker.space as their primary platform, our goal is to work closely with them and build whatever is necessary to make it happen.

Here is our vision of what a fully Nouns-focused noun.space will look like.
We will continue brainstorming and soliciting feedback from the community on this work through a public Camp Topic. Additionally, anyone will be able to extend the functionality of noun.space, both through our open source codebase and by permissionlessly deploying mini apps.
Every community should have a mini app, and as a top community on Farcaster and Base, this rings especially true for Nouns. The Nouns mini app is already live and features all of the functionality of Nounspace. Because Farcaster and Base mobile apps don’t allow connecting external wallets to mini apps, we’ll implement a simple flow for Nouners that wish to vote from Farcaster or Base app to delegate to their embedded wallet.
In addition to the following roadmap, we’ll continue improving the Nouns mini app based on community feedback with the goal of getting the majority of active Nouners using the mini app weekly.
Noun.space will be dedicated to all things Nouns.

Once a proposal passes, a tab for Propdates will be automatically added. We can also automatically add other relevant Mini Apps, such as an overview of stream progress for proposals funded via stream, or a mini-app for milestones if milestone-based funding is implemented.
Building this functionality as Mini Apps will also enable native Farcaster notifications for both proposals, propdates, and future proposal functionality.

We went ahead and built v0 of Proposal Spaces during the hackathon at FarCon, including Mini App support (check it out).
Currently the app offers 9 theme templates, with custom HTML/CSS backgrounds, borders/border colors, fonts/font colors, and shadows.
We plan to host a contest via Rounds.wtf to reward creators for creating new nounish theme templates, which will become the new default theme templates for all space systems. For communities deploying their own space system, the ability to upload custom theme templates will be a premium feature.
Because of our support for mini app context and manifest, these features will be accessible both on (and off) any client that supports mini apps (such as Farcaster and the Base app).
Relative to standalone apps, which Nouns has historically depended on for tackling the many problems and opportunities we face, deploying mini apps is significantly cheaper, faster, and more effective, and we expect this trend to continue as AI improves and the Farcaster ecosystem matures.
Mini app notifications will help maintain community engagement and awareness, without users needing to change their primary Farcaster client.

Our team has experience building, operating, and exiting multiple consumer startups (JustLegal (acquired by DigitalTown) and Bitfract (acquired by ShapeShift)), building, launching, and contributing to top DAOs (ShapeShift, Giveth, and ATX DAO), building decentralized social (LBRY, Odysee, and SkateHive), and are all just generally nounish and gnarly.
In early 2024, we delivered the first Nounish Farcaster client, as described in our original proposal. After a year of development, we now have a powerful, polished, and reliable app as well as a clear and validated strategy.

There's ~520 stETH currently staked in the $SPACE fair launch contract.
This contract generates 1-2 ETH of monthly yield (32.5+ ETH and counting).
The yield is then streamed into the $SPACE/ETH liquidity pool on UniV3 on Base, becoming protocol-owned liquidity.
