Name our smart contracts, get paid. Updated per suggestions from last one. Leveraging new Enscribe contract. So we have forward and reverse resolution.
ENS is running a naming incentive specifically around smart contracts. Regardless of the incentive, I believe it is in the best interest of Nouns to name our smart contracts especially if the UX/UI changes to support this. ENS is a great DAO to partner with and we should show support by leading by example.
Executing this proposal will use the ENScribe contracts to register names on ENS. We will remove access to the app (the last step). For version 2 the Enscribe contract has been updated based on Greg (Devrel for ENS) and Nischal (engineer for Enscribe) comment and community feedback.
Step 1: We give the ENScribe V2 Contract temporary permission to manage our ENS name
Step 2: We call the ENScribe contract to register names for our contracts. Forward Resolution
Step3-Step 7: Set Reverse Resolution for contracts that we own.
Step 8: We remove ENScribe's permission to manage our ENS name
The above steps and figuring out the onchain actions could have not been possible without the help of Nouner James/jkm.eth from Lighthouse.cx. As well as Index and Wylin for comments and shoutout Tabs.wtf. Greg from ENS and Nischal for making the updates to support Nouns DAO and guiding me.
No comp. If we do get a nice airdrop, I highly suggest to all we keep it as a show of good faith to ENS DAO.
