Pipe has been great to work with on my lil Nouns funded project, Project Flippi and when I listen in to a call, I can tell he is passionate about Nouns, Lils, providing advice/critque, or calling out what he thinks goes against the idea of Nouns. I do agree with others concerns of having no concrete deliverables. It's an issue traditional companies have with overhead roles and the difficulty of knowing their true impact.

I think if you could find a way to quantify what your impact with this prop would be, it would be better received. Some of your impact items will be difficult to quantify but some are pretty straightforward.

Onboard x# of individuals who are now regular participants, Assist on x# of onchain proposals (goal x# of which were successful), attended/supported/elevated x# of IRL events, high level participation x# of weekly/monthly calls. If you make this have measurable deliverables, I'm for!

Although I have concerns about this model and some disagreements with Lil Noun 67/Noun 544/60r9(0)/pipe/pip/9193/snowman, I value those who show up every day and share the same obsession with Nouns as I do.

I appreciate the proactiveness and initiative Pipe consistently brings to Nouns. He was also generous in delegating a Noun to me last year, which gave me my first opportunity to participate in Nouns governance. Pipe has delivered on many proposals and created positive outcomes for the DAO; however, this is a proposal I can’t support.

There are a few reasons for this. First, I’d like to see the Ice Cream Truck come to fruition before moving forward, given that it was a significant allocation for lils. Second, learning more about the Mog situation left a sour taste and reflects poorly on the DAO at large. Third, as Bix noted, there are no clear deliverables outlined for this salaried role.

it makes sense for the DAO to establish some level of structure even while not replicating traditional corporate structures, and allow some budget for those structures to function without a DAO-wide vote on every action

the concerns expressed by other voters are fair and were taken into consideration in our deliberation. our hope, if this proposal passes, is that it will encourage the DAO's body of volunteer contributors to continue contributing, that their good work will be rewarded, that pipe will set a precedent for how a Steward role can add value to the DAO while maintaining accountability to it.

The $mog treasury was inline with "meme value" thesis but agree it didnt work out, and I'm treating that loss as real. Artists have been & are being funded, all the ongoing tasks are being worked on, and all deliverables will be met. I am personally funding these efforts too, whilst actively reaching out and working with creative artists and designers to grow Nouns. I dont believe the meme coin treasury concept was fueled by greed, more so believing in my thesis too strongly, took a risk that did not pan out, and that mistake is with me alone. Despite the high frequency, I've paíd myself $0 wage from Nouns proposals in 2025 (same for Lil Nouns, all funds go to r&d, and the Lil Ice Cream van is a loan I have to repay to Lil Nouns DAO + then ongoing new revenue stream experiment for the DAO). I like Nounish DAOs as a new experiment and new ideology, and I think that this is probably pretty clear vía the work I've done thus far. I take accountibility and transparency/honesty seriously and hope thats also clear vía my onchain actions.

I wrote this as a "steward prop" to commentate the current meta and obviously is nearly impossible to read between the línes here. As mentioned on spaces, we are all stewards, but this prop is about turning my time into culture that compounds over over the years - something I have been doing, and will continúe to do, in 2026 and beyond (regardless of this proposal outcome). This proposal passing would allow me to defragment my work and say no to other time-consuming freelance design jobs next year. Whether this passes or fails, i believe it is serving a purpose as an onchain artifact, and appreciate everyone's time contributing to the narrative. Nouns would be my dream client to work for and is unlike anything I've experienced in my ~15yrs as a product designer, hence my desire to send this proposal! I hope people are interested enough in the thesis to download the "MEME VALUE" book linked in this proposal and hope that too compounds culture over the years to come.

IMO, we're setting the wrong tone with these types of loose 'full time' roles that don't have a clear set of deliverables and are essentially 'let me cook' props.

The "i commit to" section is something all of the remaining active contributors try to do, no? (besides DJing X spaces). Paying one person to do general things like these will ultimately make others not want to do them anymore, unless paid... And clearly, seeing props like this makes others want the same role (as we see from more steward candidates going up)..

IMO proposals need to be more defined. If you want to make a book- propose to make a book. etc..

I value the work you've done, and love you have for Nouns but I honestly expect more from people who have been around for so long and attempting to 'steward' more people into the DAO. Its disappointing to see this type of stuff with meme number asks "$69,420" ... So also worried that this is the type of prop you'll encourage and help bring to the dao in the future.

Love you, dude, and I hope you don’t take this personally. On the contrary, I’m sharing this because I think we both want what’s best for Nouns, and honesty should part of that.

That said, we have to be realistic. Even with an appreciated disclaimer, the situation around mog following greed not using dca ended up not being best precedent to show helping others navigate the complexity of Ethereum. This proposal feels similar past ones in the sense that it’s trying to do too much at once, which creates a real risk of underperforming in several areas lowering standars and creative inovation for next builders. That’s why I believe Nouns is much better positioned than other nonprofits to create meaningful, outsized impact given structure and tech stack where we work on to have quite leaner capital allocation than common orgs if we keep last years trajectory of learning and growing avoiding same mistakes by focusing. Love funny numbers but in salaries prefer setting concrete workable amounts as we have seen in the past loose allocation does not work great.

Finally, things like 24 trivia days and end-of-year initiatives aren’t the best examples of outward-facing impact. They’re mostly inward-facing activities that appreciate as feeling part of community is important since when joined did not existed and you cleary are moving things in a good way but can objectively be much better to avoid falling in mistakes by tweaks your creativity can generate.

I trust Pip’s good intentions, and I believe in his vision for community and collaborative work. I truly recognize his effort—his initiatives have had a meaningful and positive impact on the side of Nouns that continues to be weird, creative, and deeply artistic.
