The expense was incurred in the course of a Nouns-branded activation involving Drew Hanlen, where physical assets were produced and used in good faith to support Nouns visibility. All associated strategy, design, coordination, and production work contributed by Problem was provided without charge and is not part of this request. The billed party did not intend to personally absorb this cost, and the expense remained outstanding following broader program discussions that ultimately did not materialize.
This proposal is narrowly scoped to resolve a specific, documented external expense and does not authorize any future work, programs, or commitments.
During this period, broader discussions were underway around potential Nouns-related programming involving Drew Hanlen, including Proposals 751 (cancelled) and 764 (defeated). While those proposals did not pass, the physical production work described above had already occurred in good faith and provided tangible value at the time.
This retro request is intended to close the loop on a discrete third-party cost incurred during that transitional period, rather than leave the expense stranded or borne personally by the billed party.
