In the version 2 proposal for Nogglesboard, we've incorporated community feedback by reducing the number of deliverables and streamlining the vision to make it more focused and impactful. Builders Willdias and Zimardrp are teaming up for the Nounish project, creating Noggles for both the sea and the streets, alongside a wealth of creative content.
The project now centers around an Art x Surf, Skate, and Crypto campaign, with three key actions:
We will invite five talented artists to contribute to a unique Nounish initiative, creating custom surfboard designs inspired by NFTs, traits, open-source materials, and the vibrant Nouns community. The artists will come from various backgrounds and artistic disciplines.
Each artist will be compensated for their creations and guided by Zimardrp and Willdias, who will offer creative support and insights. Together, they will craft a narrative that unites handcrafted surfboards, art, and blockchain in a groundbreaking way. From this collaboration, three surfboards will be donated to prominent athletes, including:
A specific round will be launched on Warpcast, allocating 1 ETH to the theme of free art within the Gnars/Nouns universe. This initiative will celebrate the creativity of the Nouns community by allowing members to submit designs for a Nounish surfboard. We will invite friends from the Gnars community to help curate the selection, ensuring inclusivity and diversity in the artworks chosen for the first Nounish surfboard.
The selected designs will be digitized and vectorized by our team before being applied to the surfboards. One of these surfboards will eventually be auctioned as a modern NFT, acting as a media vehicle in the surf world while highlighting Nouns' innovative approach to custom surfboard culture.
